Technical Rider

Show: “Echoes of old Songs” (Solo Performance with Backing Tracks) or Live Band

1, Stage & Sound Requirements

  1. Sound System: A professional-grade PA system suitable for the venue size e.g. Bose L1. HK Audio, or house system)
  2. Microphone: 1x High-quality wireless vocal microphone         ( Shure SM58 or equivalent) with a stable floor stand.
  3. Inputs: 1X stereo input (XLR or Jack) for High-quality backing tracks Via Pad/Laptop.
  4. Monitoring: 1x floor monitor or In-ear monitor feed to hear vocals and tracks clearly.

2. Lighting and Atmosphere

  1. Staging: A clean , raised performance area (minimum 2m x 2m)
  2. Lighting: A simple “warm” spotlight or wash. Since this is a “playbill” style show, a single overhead spotlight is preferred to create a classic theatre atmosphere.

Backroom Requirements

  1. Changing Area: A private, secure room or area for costume changes (Stage Clothes).
  2. Refreshments: Sparkling water, coffee/tea, and a small snack or light meal for performances exceeding 90 minutes.

Performance Schedule

  1. Standard Set: 2 x 45 minute-sets with a 15 minute Intermission.
  2. Soundcheck: 30 minutes of “ quite Time” in the venue required at least 1 hour before doors open.
